XBlueSea Jobs provide permanent and temporary recruitment services to clients looking to recruit personnel for their businesses.
As we are a recruitment company, this means that in order to help individuals such as clients or candidates, we will need to obtain certain types of information to aid in your job search.
Where you apply for a job opening posted by us or a client looking for recruitment services or solution, these Privacy Notice provisions will apply to processing of your personal information in addition to Our other Privacy Notice which has been provided to you separately or is available on Our Website.
Where you apply for a job opening via the application function on a job site or looking for recruitment services, you should note that our relevant Partner, supplier, client, may retain your personal data and may also collect data from Us in respect of the progress of your application. Any use by the Partner, supplier, or client of your data will be in accordance with their own Privacy Notice.
Your Personal Information
1. Information we may collect from You
a) Clients; XBlueSea Jobs may collect and use only the information necessary to provide you, or people in your organisation with services such as finding the best available candidates for your opportunities.
b) Other data subjects; XBlueSea Jobs may collect and use only the information necessary to be able to contact you and pay you for the services you provide.
c) Website Users; XBlueSea Jobs may collect and use only the information necessary to improve your experience when using our website. This may include how, when and how often you visit us.
2. XBlueSea Jobs may collect and process some or all of the following types of information from you:
a) Information that you provide when you apply for a role or looking for recruitment services. This includes information provided through an online job site, via email, in person at interviews and/or by any other method.
b) In particular, XBlueSea Jobs may process personal details such as name, email address, address, telephone number, date of birth, qualifications, experience, information relating to your employment history, skills experience that you provide to Us, as well as your video in case you conduct your interview using the Video Interview feature.

d) A record of your progress through any hiring process that we may conduct.
3. XBlueSea Jobs may also collect sensitive personal data about you, related to your health, diversity information or details of any criminal convictions of. We only collect sensitive personal data from you, and further process this data, where you have given your explicit consent
a) If you are interviewed and submitted as a candidate, then this may involve the processing of more detailed personal data including sensitive data such as health information that you or others provide about you. In that case we always ask for your consent before undertaking such processing
b) If you do not provide the personal data necessary, or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data, we may not be able to match you with available job opportunities.
4. Uses Made of Your Information
Lawful basis for processing
I. XBlueSea Jobs rely on legitimate interest as the lawful basis on which We collect and use your personal data. Our legitimate interests are the recruitment of staff for Our business, and clients (who looking for recruitment services).
II. Where you apply or showing interest for a job opening through LinkedIn, dice, monster or similar job boards, we rely on your consent, which is freely given by you during the application process.
Purposes of processing

a) To consider your application in respect of a role for which you have applied.
b) To consider your application in respect of other roles.
c) To communicate with you in respect of the recruitment process.
d) To enhance any information that we receive from you with information obtained from third party data providers.
e) To find appropriate candidates to fill Our job openings.
5. Disclosure of Your Information
a) As set out above, XBlueSea Jobs may pass your information to our third party service providers, Supplier’s or clients who use it only in accordance with our instructions and as otherwise required by law.
b) Where you have applied to a job opening through another service provider, we may disclose data similar to the Disposition Data defined above to such service provider. The service provider shall be the data controller of this data and shall therefore be responsible for complying with all applicable law in respect of the use of that data following its transfer by Us.
6. How We store your Personal Data
Security
a) XBlueSea Jobs take appropriate measures to ensure that all personal data is kept secure including security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal data to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
b) XBlueSea Jobs also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where We are legally required to do so.

Where XBlueSea Jobs store your personal data in our own systems.
